Client Advisory Council
In 1995, we developed our client advisory council with the intent of reaching out to clients of our firm for feedback and ideas. Now 17 years later, this ever-changing group of clients who serve a three year term and represent the demographics of our office, continue to enlighten us, share wonderful ideas and have become emblematic of the types of clients who find success at Freedman Financial. It is our hope that at some point in the future, you’ll consider being a part of our council.
Here are some of the wonderful ideas we’ve developed because of our Client Advisory Council;
In 2000 we began presenting a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving child, grandchild and/or great grandchild of our advisory clients. Each candidate must complete an essay in answer to the question “What does Financial Responsibility Mean to You?”. Our Advisory Council selects the winner each year. Read more.
Feedback on Marketing and Advertising Ideas
Their honest opinions keep us centered and humbled all at the same time.
Perspectives on Financial Planning from the Consumer’s Point of View
Whenever we have questions about how people might be feeling in challenging times, we know that our council will offer candid feedback with both honesty and care.
Client Only Seminar Ideas
We are dedicated to delivering quality education and information to our existing clients. While we always welcome new clients into our practice our existing clients know that they deserve our ongoing service and attention.
Some of the seminar topics that have emerged from our Advisory Council include;
“Teach our Kids about Money” – an interactive session designed to teach basic financial planning skills to kids of ALL ages.
“Economic Updates” – Periodically we invite notable economists, thinkers and research specialists to address our clients on topical issues.
“The Power Years” – Designed to highlight the NON-FINANCIAL issues that will impact your life in retirement.
“The Role of an Executor” – Designed to introduce individuals to the responsibilities associated with being named an executor of an estate.
