Freedman Financial Now Accepting 2022 Scholarship Submissions

2022 Scholarship By Freedman Financial

It’s Scholarship Time!

The Freedman Financial Associates Inc. Scholarship was created to heighten the awareness of personal financial planning and fiscal responsibility among graduating high school seniors. Now in its 23rd year, Freedman Financial has collectively awarded more than $23,000 to past winners.

Eligibility: Any graduating high school student who is a child, grandchild, and/or great-grandchild of a current Freedman Financial client. The student must have plans to attend any post-secondary educational institution. The scholarship will be limited to the first-year cost of tuition.

Scholarship Amount: $2,000.

APPLICATION PROCESS: The student must satisfactorily complete the following.

  • A scholarship application.
  • A 500-word essay relating to financial responsibility.
  • Provide a current academic record, a list of recent community service work, extracurricular activities, and work experience.

THE SELECTION PROCESS: A committee comprised of Freedman Financial clients will be selected to review all eligible applications. All applicants’ names will be removed from the selection process to ensure objectivity. Clients who may have a conflict of interest with an applicant will not serve on the selection committee. Employees and families of Freedman Financial Associates are not eligible for the scholarship.

This is NOT a need-based scholarship.
