Every year Freedman Financial awards a scholarship equal to the first-year cost of tuition not to exceed $1,000 to a graduating high school student who plans to attend a post-secondary educational institution. The scholarship is available to a student who is a child, grandchild, and/or great-grandchild of a current Strategic Asset Management Client.
Along with his/her academic record and a list of community service work, extra -curricular activities, and work experience, all applicants must answer the question "What does personal financial responsibility mean to you?" in a 500 word essay. The winner will be selected by a committee from the Client Advisory Council of no less than four members.
