Meet Our New Director of Financial Planning
[PEABODY, MA] — [July 14, 2021] – We are pleased to announce that Christian Karcher was recently promoted to Director of Financial Planning at Freedman Financial. Christian has served as a financial planning associate for the past four years.
During this time, Christian earned his CFP and maintains his Series 7 and 66 securities registration through LPL Financial. In addition to supporting Freedman Financial’s President and CEO, Marc Freedman, he has assisted Marian Gilman, Executive Vice President, and Partner, with the development, presentation, and analysis of financial plans, and began interacting with clients to deliver “Financial advice in a Language You Can Understand”®.

You can expect Christian to play an even more integrated role in the practice as he looks to help us add additional support personnel to our team; and work even more closely with Marion and Marc.
Christian’s responsibilities as Director of Financial Planning will include:
- Financial plan design and preparation
- Retirement planning scenarios
- Insurance review
- Providing financial advice to clients
- Investment analysis
Christian hails from Wisconsin and was recently married to his long-time sweetheart, Jessica. He brings strong technical skills, mastery at running “what-if” planning scenarios, and a fresh eye to our continued approach of delivering personalized client solutions.
