FINANCIAL SERVICES SUPPORT SPECIALIST

We are seeking a smart, ambitious, team-player to join our financial planning and investment management firm. The Financial Services Support Specialist will support our five-person team as a utility player and be tasked with an ever-changing collection of responsibilities to help deepen our bench. The candidate must have strong math, critical thinking, and multi-tasking skills to support day-to-day operations. Roles will include operations, client service, and trading support.

POSITION RESPONISIBILITES

Freedman Financial is seeking an ambitious, flexible, team player to join our financial planning and investment management firm. The Financial Services Support Specialist will work with our five-person team to support our clients based upon their unique financial planning needs. This is a dynamic work environment, and we are seeking a candidate who is willing to learn. The candidate must have strong interpersonal, math, critical thinking, and multi-tasking skills to support day-to-day operations. Duties will include operations, client service, and trading support.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Gather and input of financial planning data.
• Prepare reports, analysis, and summaries for client review meeting.
• Organize compliance data & reporting.
• Client Services and Relations
• Account Maintenance
• Execute trades of mutual funds and ETFs
• Identifying opportunities in day-to-day operations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Highly organized, with absolute attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software (Redtail preferred)
• Working knowledge of financial services vocabulary.
• Excellent math and problem-solving skills.
• Proven verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and establish priorities.
• Ability to handle multiple requests and respond quickly.
• Coachable
• Client-first attitude
• Team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others.
• Projects a professional image to clients.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree desired.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • BS Degree
  • Minimum three years of experience as a financial advisor
  • Series 7 license
  • CFP designation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • MS Office Skills
  • CRM experience (we use Redtail)
  • Financial planning software experience (we use Emoney)
  • Operations experience with a custodian platform (we use Clientworks through LPL Financial)
Compensation is dependent on:
  • * Your financial planning and investment advisory skill set
  • * The profitability of your transferred book of business
  • * Your ability to ‘hit the ground running’
  • * Servicing/Support of business that we transition to you
  • * Ability to nurture referrals provided by the firm
  • * Your ability to generate new business
